About Us

SCA MKE meets at the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center at 315 W Court St, Milwaukee, WI 53212 each Saturday morning from 9am to 10am.

Our usual meeting format is as follows:

1. Introductions

“Hi my name is x and I’m xyz...”

2. Personal reflections

How are you feeling today?

3. Group reading

Usually, a reading from the blue book. We also aim to have one long share per month, where an SCA member tells the story of their journey.

4. Individual shares

Each member has the oportunity to take 3 to 5 minutes to share thoughts on the reading and how their recovery is going this week.

5. A short reading from Answers in the Heart

"Daily Meditations for Men and Women Recovering from Sex Addiction"

6. Serenity prayer

"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference,"
